Tractor Pulling Rules

  1. Safety equipment required in Division II Classes & Division III
    •  Kill Switch, Fire Extinguisher and Wheelie Bars
  2. No one allowed on track except puller and track officials
  3. Driver must be seated at all times in forward normal upright position. No bouncing or swaying or excessive leaning over back of seat – must keep one hand on steering wheel, except when operating controls.
  4. Weights must be stationary and safely secured to the tractor. No ballast shall extend more than 11 feet from rear axle centerline to front of tractor. No weights chained to seat.
  5. Parts or loss of weights – driver will be flagged and measurement will be taken from that point.
  6. Disregard of or arguing with flagman or sled operator will be an automatic disqualification.
  7. Stop IMMEDIATELY on red flag.
  8. Protest driver must be in Class. A protest fee of $20 to be put up by both drivers before protest will be acted on. Protest must be made before next class starts.
  9. Draw bar must have 3” eye and 1” thick by 1” depth at hook point no longer than 1” from eye to backend of draw bar – must be secured from all directions and be 18” from axle center line and 18” high (Division I only).
  10. Tractor may hook one time per Class, in as many Classes as sanctioned for.
  11. Drivers must 16 years old or older.
  12. Tractors must be 1957 models or older .
  13. No Radial tires allowed. Check Division limits for tire allowance.
  14. Positive throttle stops MANDATORY.
  15. No alcohol or nitro fuel, no shift of T/A, no locking rear ends, no altered wheelbases or frames to make classes.
  16. No headers.

3800, 4200, 4500, 5000, 5500, 6000, 6500 and 7000#.

18” Drawbar Height

 
  1. Entry Fee $10.00
  2. 3 MPH
  3. 10% RPM
  4. NO Cut, shaved or altered Tires
  5. Maximum Tire Size: 12 x 38, 13.6 x 38 or 14.9 x 28
  6. 14” Maximum rim in 4500# and under
    Maximum Tire Size: 14.9 x 38, 15.5 x 38 and 16.9 x 34
    Maximum rim width – 16” in all other classes

DIVISION II (50% payback, 3 places

Classes:
4000, 4500, 5000, 5500, 6000, 6500#

Drawbar – 18” from centerline – 20” high

  1. Entry Fee - $15.00
  2. 4.5 MPH any gear
  3. 10%RPM
  4. 15.5 x 38 Maximum Tire Size (Any rim width – cut tires allowed)

DIVISION III (50% payback, 3 places

Classes:
3800, 4500, 5500, 6000, 6500#

  1. Entry Fee - $15.00
  2. 10% RPM
  3. 18.4 x 38 max tire size – cut tires allowed
  4. Drawbar – 18” from axle centerline – 20” high
  5. Unlimited speed – any gear
